Adam Darrah
I'm Adam. I got into programming in high school because my Counter-Strike: Source clan, which played competitively in CAL, needed a website, and I turned out to love building it more than anything else about running the clan. That led me to a computer science degree at IUPUI, and to teaching myself Rails on the side after watching Twitter get built so quickly with it.
This is my fifth or sixth attempt at a blog. The others ran out of steam, but AI has made me excited to write again, so this is where I'll share what I'm learning and playing with. Outside of work I'm married to Kirsten, and we have two kids, Emerson and Liam. You'll usually find me traveling with them, trading Pokémon cards, binging a good show, or picking up the PS5 when I get the chance. I'm in Carmel, Indiana.
